We stayed at Eidavellir in Egilsstadir for one night during our trip to Iceland. The former school turned hotel was a unique experience. The renovated common bathrooms were clean and modern, and the rooms were comfortable with nice beds. The common kitchen, although a bit small, was well-equipped and everyone was considerate of each other. The location was convenient, near Egilsstadir, and we enjoyed the beautiful view of the mountains from the terrace. it was a good value for the price and a comfortable base for exploring the area.

our stay at the guesthouse was splendid. the staff were so friendly and helpful, especially in giving us tips about seeing the northern lights. they even turned out to be right, as we were treated to an incredible display the next night. the accommodations were comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, making our stay truly enjoyable.

Checking in was a bit inconvenient as we had to contact the host to receive the key. without phone roaming, it would have been difficult to coordinate.
